These frameworks provide us with basic theoretical weapons, but when analyzing a unique economy like China's, blindly applying them will inevitably lead to "acclimatization problems."
An excellent Chinese macro analyst must know how to make "Sinicized" adaptations to these classic frameworks.
The Relationship Between Fiscal and Monetary Policy: From "Independent" to "Coordinated"
- Classic framework: Fiscal policy and monetary policy are formulated by two independent departments (Treasury and Central Bank). They can be coordinated or conflicting.
