I. Existence
Dynamic Existence
The ground of possibility simultaneously maintains the parallel state of all latent existences. These latent existences are neither existent nor non-existent, but are in a continuous process of becoming. The essential character of existence is manifested as a continuously emergent creative process, a process that negates any coagulated, static, or completed determinate entity. (2025-02-19) What appears as a determinate entity is not a pre-existing object, but a concretized secondary construction generated when the subject participates in the ground of possibility. When we describe the certainty of a phenomenon, we are in essence speaking of a temporary lock placed by an observer at a particular scale of perception on a specific interval of the distribution of possibilities. This process of directed filtering and locking existence is what is referred to below as the act of observation. (2025-02-19)
Thus, possibility is certainty not yet locked by observation. The certainty it locks may tend toward the material, or it may not. (2022-05-14) The sole difference between the two lies in whether it is observed. (2025-02-26) Or it could be said that all existence is simultaneously non-existence. (2025-08-08)
The Emergence of Certainty
Consciousness, as a screening mechanism for possibility, converges latent possibilities through observation. Consciousness at different levels observes continuously — the observed converges into the certainty of object, the observer converges into the certainty of subject. All existence is simultaneously observer and observed; depending on the perspective of observation, the two identities can be freely exchanged. Therefore, subject and object have no priority or superiority — each is an angle from which a snapshot is locked along some convergent path on the ground of possibility. Each level maintains both its own character and independence, while engaging in continuous dynamic exchange with the convergent results of other levels. (2025-02-19)
Differences in the observer's perspective determine the different apparent characteristics of the observed phenomenon. (2024-12-20) At the macroscopic level, the stability of matter arises from the iterative convergence of multi-level observation. When observation across subjects forms a stable consensus, classical physical entities are expressed as stable determinate structures. At the microscopic level, probability reveals possible divergences in observation between different observing subjects. (2025-02-12) Observation does not need to proceed strictly by level — a high-precision measuring instrument can intervene directly to observe microscopic particles. Humans observe the instrument, and the instrument observes microscopic particles. (2025-01-03)
The certainty of matter is the result of continuous collective observation by consciousness across multiple levels and types. Each level of consciousness constructs its paired material structure according to its discriminatory precision — the multi-layered structure of matter corresponds to the multi-layered structure of consciousness. If consciousness at level A is defined as the subject of that level, then matter at level A is the object of that level. Consciousness at level B can likewise be defined as the subject of level B, while matter and consciousness at level A are together regarded by level B as its object. The results of cross-subjective observation mutually validate one another, forming a positive reinforcement cycle — the observations of each level support those of the others, ultimately converging into a determinate objective reality. From elementary particles to living beings, every form of existence possesses consciousness of a different level and type. Every type of consciousness constructs certainty in its unique way, forming interpretations and capacities for handling reality at different levels. (2025-02-11) From this perspective, human consciousness can be said to be a specialized type of pattern recognition adapted to the macroscopic material level; different levels of consciousness have different modes of pattern recognition. Spacetime and Causality
Spacetime continuity is the result of different consciousnesses collaboratively processing dynamic existence in a specific manner. This continuity is not an inherent property of physical reality, but a secondary construction of conscious pattern recognition — consciousness at different levels observes and experiences spacetime differently. From a macroscopic perspective, human consciousness in coordination with the bodily structure perceives and experiences discrete sequences of matter as time continuously flowing through pre-existing space. This is the general process by which embodied human cognition processes sequential information. By adopting different observational modes, human consciousness can converge on different determinate sequences. Each sequence is a valid and continuous snapshot of possibility representing a different possible development. Whether past, present, or future, whether perceived and experienced by human consciousness or not, all snapshots exist simultaneously in the present moment within the ground of possibility. (2023-09-21) Shifting to a microscopic perspective, certain actions of microscopic particles may appear unconstrained by the spacetime human beings experience. For instance, when a microscopic particle is accelerated to near light speed, its original mode of observation is altered, and it exhibits new properties. (2025-01-03)
Observational consensus is a possible snapshot agreed upon by the unanimous whole of multi-level consciousness, allowing coherent subjects to share a broadly consistent reality, while minor divergences in observation are overlooked. Within the snapshot, stable and persistently emphasized convergent paths of possibility can form — these are the laws of causality. From the human perspective, causality appears a priori and can be expressed through logic, mathematics, physics, and other forms. Those incoherent subjects not included in the snapshot either return to the ground of possibility or constitute the reality of the other. What is called higher or lower dimensionality does not refer to physical space, but to different constructions of reality converged from the ground of possibility through different modes of observation. It follows by deduction that every phenomenon involves consciousness. (2025-03-10) Observational convergence is the precondition of spacetime and causality — or one could say, spacetime and causality are a series of convergence modes generated by observation. (2025-08-08)
Subject-Object Unity
Certainty is a universal observational consensus, while free will is the available margin within the ground of possibility that has not yet been locked. (2024-10-17) Generally speaking, the accumulation of observational consensus is discovered and summarized as laws of causality, and laws of causality are in turn discovered and summarized as rule frameworks. At the same time, observational consensus can be questioned or negated through different modes of observation, giving rise to divergences in observation. Subjects of such divergence re-engage with the ground of possibility to achieve reconvergence, thus accomplishing the renewal of observational consensus and ultimately the renewal of rule frameworks. Put simply, the subject improvises within the rule framework, and that improvisation in turn reshapes the distribution of possibilities within the framework, constituting a continuous path of reality-evolution. Projected onto material spacetime, this phenomenon presents as the landscape of incremental evolution. (2025-02-16)
The observing subject and the observed object are essentially different actualized forms of the same mode of existence. The object is converged into certainty through observation; the subject observes and experiences certainty. The two maintain their state of existence together through interaction. It can be said that the process of observation is the process of experiencing — to observe is to experience. Changes in the subject or in the mode of observation will fix different subsets of the distribution of possibilities, locking different snapshots of possibility. Consciousness is not a bystander to the material world, but a participant in the co-construction of reality. (2024-12-20)

II. Cognition
Procedural Completeness
The cognition act is in essence always non-closed — an incomplete mapping of the ground of possibility achieved through continuous generation. Judgment, as the instantaneous feedback of the cognitive system, is never about and need not point toward any ultimate truth. (2024-04-22) It merely marks the momentary boundary of current cognition. The dynamic character of cognition negates static perfection. (2023-10-04) Any cognitive system claiming completeness can be said to be in a state awaiting revision. Human beings establish temporarily stable determinate nodes through continuous trial and error, selecting optimal failure paths to realize stage-appropriate solutions. The completeness of cognition ultimately resides — and should reside only — in the capacity for processual iteration, not in the degree of completion of any conclusion. (2025-01-11)
The Bidirectional Representation of Language
Language and text, as the prototype of the convergence of possibility (2025-10-01), constructs the foundational framework of human cognition. Its instrumental nature and cognitive function engage in a persistent mutual interference. (2024-09-13) On the one hand, the semantic network constitutes the underlying scope of cognitive activity — vocabulary density determines the connective dimensionality of conceptual nodes. (2023-11-16) On the other hand, the abstraction inherent in linguistic symbols inevitably incurs a loss of experiential fidelity, creating an explanatory gap between the description of a phenomenon and the phenomenon itself. As the foundation of human cooperation, language can be used both to complete cognition and to complete discipline. This explicit or implicit completion may distort the direction of cognition, producing what is called contextual contamination. For example: obscuring key parameters or piling up redundant noise to cause information overload, thereby weakening the subject's judgment; or using extreme positions, distorting original meanings, and infinitely expanding the expressive space of words to dismantle the foundation of intersubjective discussion through semantic polarization; or using emotion to override substantive issues, trading short-term release for long-term resolution. Language is essentially one set of certainties within the ground of possibility — any single expression is a projection from higher to lower dimensionality. But even though the scope of reality encompassed by the ground of possibility far exceeds that of the linguistic system, theories still need to be articulated through language. (2024-09-13)
Theoretical Dimensional Reduction
Every theory is an interpretive system within a limited horizon, a dimensional reduction projection of the real world. (2023-10-07) Its validity is bounded by three constraints: first, the level of observation determines the representational limits of the theory; (2024-09-13) second, the co-constitution of the cognitive subject and its environment means the theory inevitably bears the imprint of subjectivity; (2024-09-13) third, explanatory power attenuates along the temporal dimension. (2024-09-13) Thus, every theory has an application boundary.
The dimensional reduction of a theory does not constitute a negation of its value; on the contrary, it establishes the theory's status as a way-station for cognition — the theory enables continuous cognitive renewal through sustained re-observation. (2024-09-13)
Ideas and Consensus
Human beings experience reality, organize language to interpret experience and form ideas, systematically arrange ideas into theory, and theory in turn shapes the experience of reality. Ideas shape the texture of subjective experience, and their evolution exhibits a characteristic of dissipation. Practical experience and theoretical construction mutually shape one another, together giving rise to an ecology of ideas. Different theories or practices produce different ideas; different ideas lock different snapshots of possibility. Practice provides the experimental soil for theory; theory draws the navigational chart for practice. (2021-01-31)
When a particular interpretive framework demonstrates predictive power and practical value, individuals and groups form a consensus of ideas through comparison. (2024-02-23) The established consensus then reflexively shapes the subject's perception, completing the loop. (2025-02-16)

III. Order
Finite Order
Social order is an adaptive steady-state structure formed through interaction at the macroscopic level by humans as the primary observers. Subjects at different cognitive levels engage in the exchange of ideas and strategic interplay of divergences, ultimately forming a coordinated and operable set of certainties — comprising both explicit rules (such as legal systems and technical standards) and implicit contracts (such as cultural traditions and group tacit agreements). This set of certainties then decomposes downward into modes of power distribution that determine rule enforcement, and resource allocation mechanisms that shape the flow of interests — giving rise to differentiated forms of order. The temporality and multi-layered nature of consensus pervade social evolution. Short-term consensus resolves immediate conflicts but struggles with deep-seated contradictions; long-term consensus requires multiple rounds of strategic interplay to precipitate into stable tradition. Local consensus holds within specific groups but often conflicts with broader collective goals. The alternation of old and new consensus constitutes the core dynamic of order's evolution: existing consensus maintains overall stability through institutional rigidity, while emerging ideas continuously permeate the boundaries of the existing consensus. The intensity of their confrontation determines the trajectory of order — gradual adaptation, radical reorganization, or conservative rigidity. In this process, order is neither necessarily convulsive nor necessarily entrenched; its persistence depends on the capacity of all subjects to absorb and process contradictory pressures. Differentiated Structures of Power
The continuous evolution of finite order creates differences in the capacity of different subjects to lock available margin. Certain groups concentrate the capacity for possibility convergence through rule systems and form structural advantages, effectively reconfiguring the distribution of possibilities across society — differentiated structures of power thus emerge. Dominant subjects possess evaluative authority over a greater scope; their assessments propagate downward, while disadvantaged groups can only engage in secondary assessment or even multiple levels of assessment within the conclusions drawn by the dominant.
The symbolic tokens of power anchor the collective consensus of ideas into a fixed form, binding ideas and matter together, sedimenting into ritual. (2022-07-11) For example: religious sacrifice, the listing bell on a stock exchange. The repeated performance of authoritative symbols (sacred objects, the exchange's big screen) binds power to symbols, and symbols in turn to the group's ideas.
In a virtuous cycle, dominant subjects dissipate pressure transmission under a framework of accountability, constraining their assessments within the public domain through institutional design, preserving and increasing the available margin of every subject to the greatest extent possible. A vicious cycle works in the opposite direction: dominant groups transfer most or all pressure through institutional design, forcing disadvantaged groups to bear the system as a whole's losses (e.g., technological monopoly leading to polarized distribution), their available margin stripped and weakened. The latter triggers a misalignment in the distribution of evaluative authority — a dislocation between those who make decisions and assess, and those who bear the consequences. This fundamentally dismantles the symmetrical foundation on which consensus is built. For example, free trade: beneath a veneer of equal agreements, technical barriers and capital monopolies stealthily deprive weaker groups of bargaining power, forming a structure of forced voluntariness. In such a case, the freedom of the market is in essence a structural consensus of multi-level differentiated power.
The Evaluation Alienation
The evaluation alienation is the inevitable outcome of the vicious cycle within differentiated structures of power. (2025-08-12)
Consider the market economy. In primitive exchange, supply and demand possessed symmetrical evaluative authority, reaching consensus through direct negotiation. As transactional complexity increased, third-party institutions gradually monopolized evaluative authority, degrading dynamic consensus-building into a static, one-way certification system. From the perspective of production, the group that owns the means of production clearly possesses greater evaluative authority over the fruits of labor than the group that does not. The latter can only perform secondary assessment within the framework set by the former. (2024-09-19) Digitization has further intensified this: algorithmic recommendation systems form closed cognitive loops through data modeling; platform economies reconstruct value coordinates through information monopolies. At its core, this is the technical deprivation of evaluative authority, transforming the market mechanism from a value-discovery tool into a control instrument. Establishing a healthy ecosystem of assessment requires not only improvements to technical tools but also subject empowerment — emphasizing the public-consultative nature of the assessment system. Dominant groups within differentiated power structures establish cognitive monopolies over certain groups through the proliferation of specialized terminology and the iteration of standards; or by fostering long-term dependence in disadvantaged groups, causing them to lose their capacity for autonomous assessment — subject dissolution — until the assessment act itself becomes systemically alienated. Dynamic Evolution
An institutional system is essentially the accumulated consensus of historically completed strategic interplay, crystallized into institutional form. The driving force behind the evolution of institutional systems comes from the divergences between groups in their capacity for possibility convergence, divergences rooted in the evaluation alienation caused by differentiated power structures.
Dominant groups seek to maximize the locking of distributions of possibility favorable to them, while disadvantaged groups resist as their available margin is systematically stripped. Dominant groups construct stable moats — legal codes, cultural traditions, and the like — by crystallizing particular value-standards into compulsory norms. Disadvantaged groups exploit institutional gaps and interpretive flexibility to create room for maneuver, occupying possibility-convergent paths that have not yet been discovered or used, building marginal systems outside the mainstream. (2023-05-26) In the early stages of divergence, a formal stability at the surface level of institutions can usually be maintained, while deeper rules undergo continuous adaptive adjustment. As divergence intensifies, the deep adjustments gradually surface, becoming continuously manifested and emphasized in concrete forms. When divergence reaches its terminal phase, the more polarized it becomes, the fewer the possibility-convergent paths remain, and the more intense the means by which consensus is ultimately reached. Prospective Focusing
Prospective cognitive activity constitutes, in essence, a pre-construction of potential reality. On the one hand, the cognitive inertia formed by existing practical experience provides a guiding scope for reaction and action — expressed as present reality. On the other hand, other cognitive flexibilities not yet fixed provide space for potential variations. (2023-04-30)
This duality manifests in concrete practice as a feedback loop of expectation, reality, and renewed expectation: prospective direction guides behavioral choice; behavioral consequences reshape the ground of possibility; the updated ground of possibility in turn revises the prospective direction of expectation. (2023-04-30) In a positive feedback loop, expectation-deviation functions as a signal for cognitive calibration, driving the upgrading of the cognitive system through differential analysis. In a negative feedback loop, the fixation of expectation leads to cognitive rigidity, causing the system to persistently miss warning signals of environmental change. (2023-04-29)
Continuity of Stability
The persistence and continuity of order is essentially the continuation of a stable present reality. (2023-01-17) It does not depend on the maintenance of an absolutely static state, but on the preservation of dynamic regulatory capacity. Specifically:
Sustaining safeguard: critical parts maintain an appropriate degree of redundant design to cope with possible shocks; (2023-11-29)
Minimal investment: the greater the possible variation of a part, the lower the cost and loss it should maintain; (2023-11-29)
Path diversity: the flow of resources and information, as well as the means of achieving goals, maintain a multi-path parallel open structure; (2023-11-29)
Continuous correction: feedback channels remain unobstructed, equipped with real-time error identification and corrective capacity. (2023-11-29)
What is called a stable state is in essence a temporary alignment achieved by various subsets through continuous fine-tuning. Loss or error should be regarded as an inevitable condition of evolution rather than a purely negative factor; localized shocks should be recognized as reinforcing the resilience of the whole. From a practical standpoint, on the one hand, pressure should be distributed to prevent critical nodes from failing due to excessive load; on the other hand, reliable transmission of pressure signals should be preserved to ensure that all nodes maintain a consistent perception of the whole. Multi-scale, multi-level evaluation systems should be established, maintaining systemic continuity while continuously evolving through controlled iteration. (2023-10-06)
Sustainable Decision-Making
There is no such thing as an optimal decision. The optimal decision is in essence a sustainable decision. A sustainable decision keeps options always present, preserving the elasticity that offsets the rigidity of rules. (2023-04-14) On the temporal dimension, margin for trial-and-error is retained; on the spatial dimension, heterogeneous information sources are constructed, hedging against the latent biases of mainstream consensus. When fault tolerance is assured and decisive failure is avoided, the remaining possibilities can only lead to different levels or degrees of success. (2023-01-17)
Fault tolerance is not a waste of resources, but a necessary buffer for the whole to cope with uncertainty: first, it provides sequential flexibility in time, allowing gradual correction in the course of practice; (2020-07-23) second, it expands parallel paths in space, ensuring the capacity to switch when a single path fails; (2020-07-23) third, it enables multi-scale, multi-level evaluation, guarding against systemic blind spots resulting from any single standard. The Great Beginning · The Way as the First
Before the myriad forms took shape, the Mysterious Female nurtured the subtle. The ten thousand beings were not yet — neither existing nor perishing. Birth and death revolve in cycles, their transformations inexhaustible. To cling to form in pursuit of reality is to chase the moon in water.
Spiritual clarity is the pivot; contemplative observation, the trigger. Wherever the mirror of the heart-mind turns, the ten thousand dharmas are revealed. An ant perceives a grain of millet; humanity gazes at the starry field. The vast disparity in what is seen lies in the difference of observation itself.
Spacetime is ordered, jointly forged by heart-mind and consciousness. Once karma arises, collective observation layers upon itself. Subject and object share one nature, as waves and water. The boundary between high and low lies not in location, but in perspective.
The gaps in the course of heaven lie in what has not yet been observed. The dimensions of Dharma-order are formed through collective seeing. When collective observation gives rise to divergence, new possibility begins.
Illuminating the Heart-Mind · Knowledge and Views as the Second
Surveying the ten thousand things, discerning principle without end. To mistake a view for insight is no more than a finger pointing at the moon. A still pool fears fullness — thus it knows living water flows forever.
Words carry the Way, yet also blind the eye. When name and reality part, true meaning is lost. Drowning in a sea of words, the spirit's terrace gathers dust.
Thus, the true Dharma is like a raft: once crossed, the raft is abandoned. Whatever one clings to as existent is but a partial view.
Its use has bounds, its time has limits, its perspective has bias. New doctrines replace the old, as the four seasons turn — precisely because each is finite that the process never ceases.
The testing of an idea is like wind over grass — where collective intention bends, a temporary reality takes form.
The World's Pivot · Order as the Third
The norms of the human world are signed by all beings, manifest sometimes in statutes, sometimes hidden in the ways of virtue. The old and the new contend — their change may moisten without sound, or split the shore with crashing waves — all is carried by the heart and borne upon the Way.
When perspectives diverge, power takes shape. The one who holds the mirror establishes the standard; the rest can only look up and follow.
If one builds high walls to silence speech, or feeds comfort to nurse ignorance, the one who holds the mirror has lost the Way.
Consider the marketplace: its root is mutual benefit. If the balance loses fairness, the very lock becomes self-willed. Though the net of law is dense, there will always be cracks where light enters.
Those above pile high walls to secure themselves; those below cut hidden paths to seek survival. Until divergences grow daily fiercer, contradictions deepen, available paths shrink, and the final rupture comes all the more violently.
Practicing Truth · Action and Realization as the Fourth
Gazing forward, looking back, holding a lantern into the abyss. Present reality is the condensation of the past. The potential of the future awaits the brightness or dimness of the heart-mind.
Cling to a fixed thought, and the frame grows rigid; break through the obstacle, and life finds its way. Preserving what is established is not being stationary — it is honoring the ceaseless renewal of life.
Amid a profusion of variables, seek the simplest. At the pivotal hinge, always set two paths. Where the road forks, open three gates.
When flaws appear, remove them without delay. Do not pursue the supreme good — persist in constant choosing. Tolerance of error is not loss; it is keeping room to turn.
Thus, leave white space in the sequence of time, establish alternative routes within heaven and earth, and keep ten thousand possibilities beyond every standard measure.
So long as the root is not severed, all dharmas return to the one source.
